  • My first job in the landscape industry was in the late 70’s at Diablo Nursery in Danville (now Sloat Garden Center), where I was mentored by the owner, a nationally recognized master gardener. Under his guidance, I discovered my passion and eye for landscape design. With that foundation, my Landscape design and construction knowledge inspired me to pursue this path as my career, sharing my talent with others.

  • Initially, upon starting Alderland, I focused on designing and building landscapes, where I gained experience that eventually attracted the attention of Sunset magazine. Soon afterwards, my work and I were also featured in Diablo Magazine. I then went on to win multiple prestigious state and regional awards that earned my company the privilege to be featured on the cover of California Landscape Contractors Magazine.

  • Over the years, many clients approached me about building swimming pools along with their landscaping. Thus, we expanded our services to became Alderland Pool & Landscape Co.

  • Adding pool design and construction to our portfolio, we soon realized the added value we could provide to our clients. We are now able to offer a complete Pool & Landscape design and construction package.

Alderland Pool & Landscape Co., based in Walnut Creek, Ca, is proud to have served our local communities over 40 years. Our team travels as far south as Monterey and as far north as Santa Rosa, designing and constructing beautiful properties.
